    push your daughter

My DD started pitching at 11yrs old with a great pitching coach. She also wouldn't believe anyone when it came to mechanics, so we started video taping her performances to prove the mistakes she was making. This worked effectively in correcting her minor mechanical problems. But, after over 1000 games in school and travel ball, she hit the wall and begged us to let her take the fall off. At first, I thought this was going to be the biggest mistake I had ever made for her, but after two months of constant throwing, she's back to the form she left, with better control, a better mind for the game and her batting average has risen about .200 for highschool ball. I believe that every situation should be looked at individually, and maybe there is no "form" answer for this situation, but I agree with cfball, middle school is where it all happens, it can't happen in highschool, I believe its too late for most to excell. good luck with your daughter. Try the video taping thing, it can't lie, and they can't deny the proof.
