Is Chris Deal on the hotseat at AC

    Is coach Deal on the hotseat at AC. I've heard that this is a possibility. I hope not, he's a great coach. AC would be hard pressed to find a better coaching tandem than Deal and Harper.

    I can see how that would be from an outsider, but in my opinion, there is no better "tandem" at any school. Not only are those 2 men great coaches, but they're family to every player on the field monday - friday along with a lot of the student body. Those 2 men mean more than just football at Alexander Central, much more. Coach Deal is a key part of ACs' future and if he left, there is no one in the state of freakin north carolina that could fill one of his shoes jumpin in with 2 feet. It wouldn't be right without him. He's the only reason i still live in Alexander County. (then later Harper came) there's my 2 cents

    Well I have heard the same thing on Coach Deal that if AC don't make it to the playoffs this year they will have a new coach next year. I hope that is not the case because I think that if Deal leaves a lot of people at AC will go with him. Because with the JV team that Coach Fox is putting together for Deal I think AC will come close to winn Conf in the next year or so. and if Deal Leaves i would like to see who they would get to come in there to do what he has done at that school i know me and coach deal has had are bad days but i respect the man for what he has tryed to do. But i think if he leaves the only one that can do something id i think Tom Harper. and there is my 2 cent also.

    I hope the rumor mill has been put to rest about this. These guys are playing some good football right now.
