    I am absolutlely sick of this winter! It just started snowing here AGAIN. In 60+ years of living here never seen a winter this bad. Looks like it will be March, or later before we get to play any ball

    Geesh. I don't know when we'll see the grass on the field up here at Watauga. There's several inches still covering the fields and it's suppose to snow through Wed. up here. Watauga may have to play road games till May.

    Join the club!!! This is the second Saturday in a row postponed Coach and parents have tried to get the field ready. You can not even walk in the grass it's so wet. More wet stuff tonight and Monday. Low 40's for highs and everything refreezes at night. Hope we don't have another Spring like last year. We lost six games off the schedule because of bad weather.

    We need some global warming bad!!!

    My DD says that there is still a foot of snow on the softball field... 1st home game in 4 weeks. Hope it warms up soon.

    Unless something changes most of the early scrimmages are gonna be in trouble. Not only are we getting snow every couple days but it isn't warming up even to normal highs when the sun is shinning. some fields up this way have been unplayable for months and I don't see being able to play or practice on some of them for at least 2 weeks even if it don't snow any more unless we get a warm spell

    Every state needs to change there season to the fall like Georgia.
    The weather is nice and it is warm and a big plus is that you can have a longer travel ball season in the spring.
