    Best & Worst Moments

    Best - Watching my son come in to pitch in relief with no outs in the top of the third inning with the bases loaded in the first game of the Western Regional Championship and strike out the side to give up no runs.

    Worst - Seeing Alex Wood call the coach out to the mound and point to his elbow in the next game of the series...

    Would trade my best moment to erase the worst moment 100 times over....

    Worst- Watching Eastern Wayne Warriors lose the State Championship by one run.

    Best- When Eastern Wayne wins Eastern Regionals won 2nd game to stay in championship, and when they tied score in third game of State Championship.

    Most important- Knowing that EW and Lake Norman got to a State championship, while family, friends, and team mates were mourning the loss of a ball player , Will Dicus and that puts alot into perspective.

    Watching the first full 4 year Class @ reagan HAve a great Year and Setting a standard for the Program..

    Worst>> not getting to watch these classy guys play as a team again..

    Best and sadiest

    On behalf of the Sanderson baseball family -- thanks mincmi.

    Best - - two parter - - (1) Watching our Sanderson baseball team compete in every 2009 playoff game after entering with a 13-10 record and expected to go nowhere. Ended up in 4A Championship game against Ardrey Kell. (2) Watching my son pitch vs Millbrook and win 12-0, catch a full 7 innings the next night vs Greenville Rose, then the next night asked to pitch in a must win game vs Greenville and left the mound in the sixth inning with a 8-0 lead, and THEN catch another seven inning back in Greenville on the fourth day. What a warriror. He spent Sunday on the couch!!! In the championship series, he pitched game two and lost 1-0 pitching a CG after catching a CG the night before. In 22.2 innings pitched in the 2009 playoffs, he only allowed that one run.

    Saddest -- looking at our team and seeing the look on these faces after losing to Ardrey Kell for the state championship. It was painful as they all had a dream as freshmen to win a state championship.

    Best - Watching our AK Knights winning the state championship.

    Worst - Seeing the politics involved in team and conference honors.
