Jake Watson commits to University of South Carolina

    2010 JAKE WATSON has committed to attend school and play baseball at the University of South Carolina. Jake will join the Gamecocks following his senior year at Charlotte Chrisitian. He is a member of the South Charlotte Panthers and will be participating this week at the Perfect Game WWBA 17U in East Cobb, Georgia.

    Congratulations to Jake and his family.

    Congratulations to Jake and his family! I know that his parents Scott and Cindy and brothers Josh and Zach and sister Taylor are very proud. Cindy has to be thrilled as a former Gamecock! Jake is a great player and a fine young man. I'm sure it was a tough decision to pick the Gamecocks over the Tar Heels after growing up a Tar Heel fan, but Jake went with the best fit for him. Good luck and enjoy that senior year.
