    JMU defeats Tenn 3-2.Couple Carolina girls contribute. Sarah "Boomer" Mooney (North Mecklandburg)turns in an excellent pitching performance. Timely hitting and outstanding defense helped.Caitlyn Sandy from the Fayetteville area,(Jack Britt High?) made some spectacular defensive plays. Congrats to these young ladies!

    I only saw her play 1 weekend, but Caitlin Sandy is one of the best I've ever seen on defense!

    I first saw her several years ago in the State Games in Greensboro. She is absolutely awesome.

    I saw her get hit on the bare ear with a full velocity throw to 3rd one game during HS playoffs. She never left the field. Tough kid.
