Yeah I remember... I cant wait for him to become a TarHeel!! Then maybe we will FINALLY get to steal a base and pitch to some batters in your line-up. I can't be any more proud of a young man as I am Jeff. I know it has been his dream to play for Carolina (the real CAROLINA)... He should follow his dream!!! I wish him nothing but the best!! Anyway, it saves on the travel for you too!!! He'll have a chance to christen the new Bosh!! He is just changing one Carolina Blue for another. (and SG does wear CAROLINA BLUE, no matter what Coach Ferrell says:party: )

AS far as getting old goes, well that may be true. It seems like only yesterday when that chubby kid was behind the plate... But even then he played like a seasoned vet. I thought then, and I do believe I said such that he had the potential to be pretty darn good. I also know how hard he works on his game, as I have seen it. The young man is so humble too. What a job of raising him you and your wife have done... I think the opportunity may be there to play... And playing behind a kid like Tim Federowicz well that cant do anything but help.

You know i know where there's another scholy offer still on the table :stirthepot: ..... J/K... Looking forward to playing each other this season, I just hope I can find enough pitching to dtop you guys!!

    Congratulations

Congrats to Jeff May and to Coach May, you all raised a quality young man and a fine catcher. UNC got a class young man, great catcher, along with a quality family. Look forward to seeing he and Seth, Greg, etc.....going back to back to back, to back.......well you get my point. Lotta power in these kids.

My only question for you Coach is are you scouting a vantage point in the outfield to view the games or are you actually gonna sit in the stands? LOL

Congratulations and Good Luck, Look forward to seeing you guys on saturday......

    Congrats from Southern Alamance

Congrats to Jeff, Kenny and the family on the choice of UNC. I have gotten to see/coach against Jeff plenty over the past 2 years (7 times) and I am sure I will get an ample amount this year. We found ways to get him out(sometimes) his sophomore year but last year during his junior campaign WOW. We could not find a way to get him out so we just started walking him. I can only imagine what he will be like this year. Hard work plus skill is a beautiful thing to watch. I know we will get to see him at least twice this year and it will be fun to compete again. I hope the best for him at UNC and beyond.

The truly beautiful thing about Jeff (besides his swing) is that despite all his numerous accomplishments, he is never satisfied. He can hit 6 straight out of the park in BP and if he pulls off the 7th one, he is over at the tee to get in some extra work. And he is the ultimate team player. As hard as he is on himself, if goes 0 fer but the team wins, he's happy. And Coach Evans, we wear COLUMBIA blue, but Jeff I'm proud to say, will be wearing the lighter shade in college! I too want to thank everyone for their classy comments about a young man who deserves to be praised.

    Welcome to the Heel family

Sandy, Greg, Jonathan and I congratulate you on Jeff's commitment to the Tarheels. Jeff has commited himself to improving himself on the baseball field and in the classroom and it has paid off. Having seen him over the past two years in the Dirtbag family, his drive and determination as a player and a leader is one reason that the 07 team was successful as they were. Congrats again and we will see you in Cary during the next spring season in Tarheel land. Godd luck in 08.
