    2013 JEREMY SCHELLHORN - Weddington High School / South Charlotte Panthers has committed to attend college and play baseball at the UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA CHARLOTTE. Jeremy will join the 49ers following his career at Weddington and summer season with the SC Panthers.

    Congratulations to Jeremy and his parents Jerry and Michele.

    Congratulations to Jeremy and his parents. Jeremy will be a great addition to the 49er team. While I believe he will be primarily a pitcher, they would do well to keep the bat in his hand. In his first Varsity at bats, he went yard and doubled off the fence against Providence.

    I look forward to watching his Junior year at Weddington.

    Coach Hibbs is getting a good one in Jeremy. Power hitter with a nice glove at the corner(s). Even throws a good pitch when called upon. It's been great watching Jeremy grow up and out since middle school. The boy is a beast! Weddington continues to look stronger the spring with the number of recruits they have on the team. Congrats to Jeremy and his family!

    Oops...that can be read the wrong way :jester: Congratulations to Jeremy and to his family. The best part is they won't have to travel far to watch his home games. Great job, Charlotte 49er's, for recruiting in the backyard.

    Congrats to one heck of a fine young man and player. I had the pleasure to help coach Jeremy for many years and I can tell you that Jerry and Michelle have done a wonderful job raising this model ballplayer. He is a "yes sir" guy that will go all out for the Niners when called upon. We will look forward to watching him often at the next level. You rock Jeremy. And, oh yeah, the kid is a stud in the classroom as well with 4.3+ GPA last I heard. Good luck with Weddington this season and stay healthy.
