    I saw this thread title in another one of the forums, but across the state, what positions are expected to be open this summer?

    I know of three so far....

    Rocky Mount (3A)
    Cary (4A)
    Broughton (4A)

    Varsity jobs, or even JV.

    My ole coach at HPU Jim Comis retiring after 26 years at Broughton I think??? Kudos to a quality man!

    a new HS opening in 2010 or 2011 ...Cleveland HS located near Clayton, NC will need a coach. not sure if it will be 3A or 4A.

    Brandon Ball (West Henderson/Brevard College) will be the next head coach at West Henderson. Great player at West and Brevard College. There was a lot of concern amongst the WH family, that the job was going to be awarded to an asst football coach that has "never" coached baseball due to ties to admin. Sometimes a lot of screaming and yelling helps. Congrats to Coach Ball. He will have the backing of the WH family.
