    He stated some sacs, caught stealing, double plays etc would limit ab's.

    True, he did now that I read closer. I would guess that could account for maybe 3 or 4 ab's per game. If every inning had a sac as the first out and a DP as the 2nd and 3rd outs, I guess you could get a 5-12 game. Last nights game I watched had 2 dp's for one team on their stats and 1 sac on the other team. I would guess maybe at most 5-(18 or 19) would be about the best a team could have as an average in a seven inning game.

    Remember the data I used earlier was ACTUAL at bats from 13 games earlier this year. 26 teams averaged .212

    676 At Bats is a pretty good sample size. Result = .212
