    Dirtbag and Swain High School standout Josh Allman (LHP) has recently verballed to the Volunteers. Congrats to Josh and the Allman family!!!!

    Congratulations to Josh and his family. Josh is a tremendous talent and will have much success at TN. The Allmans are a wonderful family. They are all about doing everything the right way. The Vols have landed a terrific leftie and one of the best young men I have had the privelege of knowing. Also, despite what his Dad thinks he is a pretty darn good hitter.

    Thanks guys.......I am tickled to death he is going to pursue his dream. He has alot of hard work ahead of him and he knows it, but I am proud of him for taking on the challenge.

    Dean thanks for the kind words, thankfully he has always been surrounded by great friends, teammates, and families like yourselves and NCSU and obviously the good far outweighed his bad upbringing at home. LOL

    Congratulations to Josh Allman, the Allman Family and Tennessee

    The McBride family would like to congratulate Josh on his commitment to the Vols. I echo everything EBDEAN said and would like to add his baserunning is ALSO much better than dad wants to give him credit for!!

    I Just hate he's not in the Southern Conference either as a teammate or opponent!!! At least that way I would have a chance to see Josh's pretty mom and sweet sister! The heck with dad....

    Just kidding. congratulations again to the Allman Family and Tennessee!!

    Congrats to Josh and his family. Im so happy I got the chance to meet and get to know them this past summer and fall. Wonderfull people and a heck of a baseball player!

    CONGRATS JOSH!

    Whew.... finally the cats out of the bag!
    I would like everyones opinion on one thing though. Kevin and I have been dicussing some fashion issues as they relate to his son's pick of a schools. Personally, I believe that Kevin can pull off horizontal orange stripes. The only risk is being mistaken for a traffic barrel. What do ya'll think?

    RedSoxFan, you're right about that, his baserunning is superb I've noticed that about him before.

    All around he's a heck of a player. As you said I wish he was going to the SoCon to play, that would have been awesome.

    I guess this will be quite a year for you RedSoxFan, adjusting to new conferences for both of your boys. Don't worry, the SoCon in college and the Mid Piedmont in high school are two of the most competitive leagues around.

    Great news

    The Holt's would like to congratulate Josh and the entire Allman family. What are great place to play baseball at TENN. All that hard work and dedication to the game has really paid off and we could not be more proud. It has been a great pleasure to know this outstanding family and we only wish you the best. See you in Louisburg this weekend. Well done!!!

    Very,Very happy for Josh. An opportunity to play close to home while being in one of the best conferences in the land. I'm betting on good things for Josh, and Tennessee.
