    Anyone see the special on him last night (can t remeber the channel it was cable) about issues in his personal life?? It was prettty awesome aqnd eye opening I thought!

    I have seen a few of those specials on tv and they are all very touching to see the up and downs that he faced the past couple years. I used to know him personally and he is what a "five tool player" is all about. He was a man among boys coming up through high school and even in pro ball. A great story!

    I think this is one I can tell my grandkids....I was watching the night Josh Hamilton hit 28 in the first round of the homerun derby. Incredible!

    than some 18 year olds. :59: That has got to be a very special moment for him to say the least. It says alot about Josh that he would honor that promise. If you made a movie about this people would say it was far fetched. Absolutely amazing story unfolding right in front of our eyes.

    The first time I saw JOsh was as at a summer camp at Elon. I also remember seeing Josh HAmilton vs JAson Neighborgall at Riverside HS when Josh was a senior in HS. The stands wwas full of radar guns!! What a game!! a 5 tool player!! Two guys head to head at 95+!!

    JOsh's father-in law spoke at the Bobby Murray TOurnament banquet this year. WHat a story!! To come back from the depths of his drug addiction and 180 lbs when he was on cocaine... at the lowest point of his life. I pray he keeps straight... This is the makings of a movie for the "TRUE NATURAL".. HE was a #1 pick for a reason!! ALL I can say is WOW!!

    Just a couple of thoughts!!
