    wilkes/blueridge

I know Blueridge won 3 out of the 4 games this weekend. Not sure about the scores. I do know that Casey Justice had a pretty good weekend at the plate. From what I heard, he was 7 for 14 with 3 doubles, 4 HRs (2 in game 1), 10 RBI's, and 6 runs scored.

Anyone know any other stats or anything that stands out in this game?

    BRCC

BRCC did win 3 of 4 this weekend at Wilkes.
    9-3 WP- Kyle Chandler
    12-0 WP- Brett Bracken
10-0 WP- Brandon Hall 6 inn of no-hit ball Wilkes got 2 hits off of the bull pen in the 7th.
    6-7 in 9 inn

Casey Justice had 4 HR's this weekend and 2 in a mid-week game giving him 6 for the week. He has 8 for the season. Our pitching was great and defense was almost perfect. We didn't make an error until the 6th inn of the 4th game. Kenneth Brandt had a good weekend at DH almost all other starters had big hits.

Play at Mars Hill JV on Thursday DH

At home this weekend non-conference Whytheville.

BRCC record is 11-10 after losing 6 of the 1st 7 games. Things are starting to come together.

Cy is not pitching at Wilkes this year.
Walker Snow got his first win this weekend vs. Blue Ridge.
Tanner Brown has been pitching good, and has become a starter.
Brett Mulkey is hurt, but is still the DH, hitting in the 3 hole.
Matt Smith is getting limited playing time.
Justin Kidd is also getting limited playing time.

    Casey Justice

BRCC played a double header at Mars Hill yesterday and Casey Justice hit 2 more HR's giving him 8 in the last week and a half and a total of 10 for the season. I think 10 HR's last year was the most anyone had for the whole season. Tristan Hollar had 10 for BRCC and Spake had 10 or 11, not sure.

Not sure where Casey is going next year but he is upping his stock every game. He is also playing great at 3rd base. You need to see him play if you are a coach. He is a power hitting 3rd baseman.

    Casey

was one of the best quarterbacks we have had at South. He's someone who my son has always looked up to, been compared to, and now can call a good friend.
I can't wait to see him move on to bigger and better things!
    Keep crushing it Casey!!

    if casey..

keeps on hitting the ball like he is right now, there is no reason why he wouldn't be playing at the next level. He is obviously a great hitter, but also, he has a great arm from the outfield and from 3rd base. I think he is a better 3rd baseman in my opinion but it doesn't matter where he plays, he's still going to hit so he will have a place in the lineup.
