    GTCC split the weekend with Rockingham. They won 7-1 and 10-1 and lost 4-3 in 8 and 4-2. Should have swept but they could not get key hits.GTCC pitching was good again.

    Casey had 3 or 4 hits this weekend. But Pitt did a good job on all of our hitters to keep us from scoring many runs. He is due to hit a few HR's. We go to Guilford Tech Comm Coll this weekend. It looks like they are playing pretty good for a new team.

    The other new team in Region X, USC Sumter, took 3 of 4 from Surry this past weekend and split with us and Pitt so the 2 new teams are holding their own.

    How did GTCC do this weekend against Blue Ridge? Should have been a good series. Any scores? Highlights? Great performances?

    All Four Games got Cancled because of Rain how did Surry Do this weekend

    split on saturday. rained out sunday. article in messenger about game.
    king pitched game 1 striking out 11 8-1 victory. king also on hitting streak.

    RAIN RAIN RAIN!!!!!

    BRCC has not played a game in over 2 weeks. The last 2 weekends have been washed out. We have lost 10 Region X games to rain so far this year. I know we need the rain but I need my baseball fix.

    The "little one" has a little league game tonight so maybe that will keep me going.

    Can anyone give an update on the standings in the conference and how the tournament is going to work. There are an odd number of teams, and I've read that not all the teams will make the tournament. Is that true?

    GTCC got swept by Pitt this weekend.They lost saturday 10-5 and 7-1 and on Sunday 2-1 and4-3. I think they are 18-18 and 11-17 in conf. I heard they would have a playin game and the top 4 teams would get a bye.Playin game would be for the bottom 2 teams.I guess you would have to look up each team to find out the records in conf. play.
