I have a question for the players and parents. The second year does the school drop your scholaship. This seems to be going on at GTCC.All the returning players but one or two are not getting any money at all the second year.

    Region X transfer Rule

Most programs will not take guys off scholarships. I don't know all the facts about this particular matter, however I do know a transfer rule that Region X has and it basically stats that starting after the end of this season no player can transfer to another member of Region X and play the next year. They will have to set out one full school year if they do transfer. If the players can not get into a 4 year school after their freshman year, then basically they are stuck and therefore they have to stay with or without scholarship money if they wish to continue playing. That could be the reason for not giving them their scholarships back or maybe the program just lost the scholarships they had.

Pitt CC was defeated by Hagerstown CC in the district this weekend. Close games, 5-4 and 5-4 It is always tough to have to go on the road and play an equal team on their home field.

However, I still want to Congratulate Pitt on a wonderful season, that was a real good club and Coach Eason did a great job with his team.

Does anybody know if Lenior CC is still alive in their district play?

Not sure where you received your information, but it is NOT correct. Pitt did lose the first game to Hagerstown, 5-4 on Saturday. However, yesterday's game were rained out. The teams play today at 10 am. If Pitt wins the first game, they will force a second game (third game in series), which will follow.

LCC (49-9) won yesterday, 9-2. They are in the winner's bracket today and will play CCBC-Catonsville today. LCC has won 33 of the last 34 and 21 in a row. The winner of this game will play at 4pm, the loser will play at 1pm.

Community College of Baltimore County - Catonsville is who we defeated in 2004 to advance to the JUCO D2 World Series in Millington, TN. Let's see if the boys of '08 can take care of business and give the program a return trip to Millington.

I am sorry about the mistake with Pitt CC. I got the information off of the NJCAA website late last night, it said they got beat both games, but now it has changed. Thats great, I wish Pitt the best. Please keep us updated.
