    I talked to some of those players and they were heading to East Cobb to start play this week

    In a high school game, I saw him run down the line from the 3rd base coaches box screaming his head off for the runner to get back (runner was near the bag) trying to induce a balk from the pitcher late in a tie game. Bushiest of the bush IMO

    It is the other way around. Some here just refuse to believe that showcase > legion...

    As an umpire, I enjoy showcase more. Legion isn't what it used to be. Too much good 'ole boy corruption over here.

    My kid plays showcase and I've seen alot of teams play this summer. I'll take Wayne or Wilson county legion over any of the showcase teams I have seen this summer. Alot, of the showcase kids, that are on better teams have good pitching on their teams and don't have to make many plays. So, you can hide their fielding abilities. Trust me I've seen plenty!!!

    The Cubs mutually agreed to only play four innings to get pitchers some work and be co-champions.
