    TOM KUELL PITCHES SHUT OUT

    Mocksville 1, Marion 0

    WP: Tom Kuell K's 5, BB's 2, Hits 3

    Mocksville Hitters:

Cameron Clinard 2-4, RBI (Avg .385)
Chase Sharon 1-3, BB, RUN (Avg .478)
Ryan Hellard 1-2, SAC (Avg .276)
Tom Kuell 1-2, BB (Avg .250)

This was a pitching duell....It went 7 innings scoreless...in the bottom of the eighth, with 2 outs, Chase Sharon gets on first with a base hit into centerfield...a passed ball moves pinch runner, Brian King, to second ... Cameron Clinard at the plate with a 2-2 count, hits a solid base hit to rightfield to score the winning run.

    What a game!

Mocksville wins the series 2-0, and will start the next series with Rowan on Tuesday

Can someone outline how the jr. legion playoffs are set up? My son's team is getting ready to start in the east, and I haven't been able to find anyone who knows how it works. Thanks.
