Caldwell post 29 doing pretty good tied with Burke co. for 1st, playing monroe in first rd of playoffs I believe series is tied 1 all. record is 21-7

Post 56 scores three times in the second inning followed by two more in the 3rd, 3 in the 5th and 2 in the 6th.

South scored lone runs in the second and sixth.

Brandon Krause did a great job on the mound for McDowell scattering 8 hits and recording 6 strikeouts in 7 innings. Half of those hits occured in the 6th and 7th innings.

The series finale will be tomorrow night in Marion at McDowell High School

South score four times in the top half of the first. McDowell chips away at the lead eventually drawing even in the bottom half of the fifth. The Spartans answer with two more runs in the sixth and hold for the win.



McDowell Post 56 in it's return to Legion Ball finished with a 16-11 record.
