    The defending champion Cary Bulls started off the 2009 season with a 8-0 win over the Cary Colts.

    Kyle Byrd (Holly Springs) hit a grand slam early for the Bulls.

    7 different pitchers toed the rubber for the Bulls (Allowing 1 hit):
