The Cary Bulls did a program first today. The Bulls (2-2) dropped 2 games this afternoon, marking the first time in program history that they lost both games of a doubleheader. The Bulls program (this is the 12th season) record is now 351-98 (3 State Championships since the state championship was created in 2002).

Northern Nash was responsbile for handing the Bulls both losses. N. Nash was very tough but the Bulls did not help themselves either committing a number of errors on the afternoon.

The Bulls travel to Oxford on Wednesday night for a conference match-up.

I know the 3 would be glad to play Friday with their buddies. They sure would rather have a STATE CHAMPION ring first!!!!!

Cary Bulls 9 Oxford 8 in 8 innings in Jr. Legion last night in Oxford.Trey Talley and Joel Adcock had 2 hits each for Oxford. Chris Hill, Cory Hicks, Andy Richmond, Ryan Allen had hits as well. Will Bullock had a nice effort on mound. For Bulls, I thought Nolan Poythress (sp?) looked very good on mound. JM15 may have more details from their side. Game 2 tonight at Green Hope at 7PM

    Cary Bulls?

Is the Cary Bulls mentioned on this thread a "Junior Legion" team? If so, can we create two separate threads.....one for "Senior Legion" and one for "Junior Legion"? Does Cary have a senior team?

Yes, Cary Post 67 has both a SR Legion team and a JR Legion team. Cary Post 67 also sponsors a second JR Legion team, the Cary Colts. The Bulls are mainly 15-16 year olds while the Colts are 14-15 year olds.

I wouldn't mind a JR Legion thread as well as a SR Legion thread to keep it from being so jumbled.

Last night's Oxford/Cary Bulls JR LEGION game was very good. Oxford can hit the ball and if it wasn't for a couple of late inning double plays by the Bulls, it could of easily gone Oxford's way. There is a rematch tonight at Green Hope HS.
