    In there first game because of the state championship run Rocky Mount defeats New Bern 9-0.

    Oxford 15 Burlington-Williams 13 (8 innings) in the ugliest game you can imagine. Tons of errors and walks. Errors on our side, walks on theirs. Justin Blackwell picked up win in relief of Ty Breedlove and Patrick Whitt, who both pitched well, just no help defensively. Breedlove 4-5(2B), Joel Adcock 2-5, Cory Hicks 2-4, Andy Richmond (HR), Ryan Allen (2B), Geoff Cash, Trey Talley,Blackwell, and Will Bullock had hits.

    Next game 6/10 vs. Cary Colts 7PM
    6/11 at Cary Bulls 7PM
    6/12 at Rocky Mount 7PM
    6/14 at Cherryville (DH) 2PM

    Pineville vs Mooresville (6/10)

    Lightning out....

    Pineville was leading 3 - 0 bottom of 3.

    Pineville back in action tonight (6/11) at home against Rocky River.

    Oxford 12 Cary Colts 6
    Chris hill picks up win. Oxford making too many errors in last 2 games. Still hitting OK, but not able to put the brakes on anyone else. Dylan Newton 3 hits (GS & 2 2B's 7 RBI's) Andy Richmond(2B) & Patrick Whitt 3 hits each. Ty Breedlove, Trey Talley, 2 hits each & Ryan Allen(345 ft. single, missed 1st base), Seth Lumpkins, Joel Adcock, and Geoff Cash(2B) round out hitting. 17 hits for 2nd time this season. Got to figure out what the glove is for this week, because tonight is Cary Bulls and they're playing he best they've played all season. Tommorrow night Rocky Mount & Sat. Cherryville. Probably won't see those run totals and hit totals against 3 top level teams.

    Oxford got the Cary Bulls on Wednesday night, 9-5.

    Lefty pitcher for Oxford was tough... walks by the Bulls pitching staff hurt early.

    Bulls drop to 20-5. I have a feeling these two teams will see each other again!

    Pineville vs Rocky River (6/11)

    Tonight's game cancelled because of lightning.

    The 6/12 game against Stanley (non-conf) will be cancelled. Pineville will play Rocky River (conf) @ Rocky River instead.
