Nice to be able to hand the ball over to freshman pitching and they get the job done tonght against W.Iredell. Saturday they pitched all soph. and that was the first they beat mocksville in 3 years. A great group Post66 has this year. They will face a tough team Tuesday with Pineville visting at 7pm.

little moors finally fall. they loose tonight to pineville. both teams came in undefeated (moors 6-0)(pineville 4-0) a very good offensive team. final score 8-2.

chris bonaventure(soph) started on the hill for the moors. he pitched a good game. allowing 2 runs or 3 runs in 5 innings. Jeffrey mason(soph) came in relieve giving up 5 or 6 in 1 1/3 innings. finished by chris dula(soph).

the young man who through against the moors kept them to 4 hits a season low and 7 or 8 k's a season high while walking a hand full at most during his complete game win.

offensively billy nantz(soph) hit a 2 run homerun. nick kieth(soph) chris dula(soph) and chris elliot(soph) had 1 base hit a piece.

the moors now 6-1 play winston salem on friday hoping to regroup.

the moors will be fine as soon as they figure out the starting line up. Pineville is a good team and i am sure it will be a different story on the 10th. when we see them again.Should have the lineup figured out by then. Still playing a lot of players every game. They still have to make one more cut. They play at home again Friday against a much improved W. Salem team.
