    Oxford 18 North Raleigh 6 Game was a lot closer till the end. N. Raleigh held a 6-2 lead until 5th. Oxford had 17 hits. Geoff Cash pitched 3 scoreless innings in relief for the win.

    That game last night was a LOT closer than the final score. I started our lefty(Bullock) and we were up 2-1 in the bottom of third with 2 outs. Their lead-off (Hanks?) got on and worried Bullock silly. He stole 2nd and 3rd, and the next thing you know, they get 5 w/ 2 outs. It rattled him and I tried to stay with him, but I didn't see us getting another out. I brought in Cash, (played LF against you) who hadn't pitched since JV, and he did a great job. Millbrook's coach Shrock(sp?) is pretty sharp, so I think they'll be tough each game and their high school team will cont. to have success with him around.

    little moors go down again. they loose to winston salem 5-2. little moors are now 6-2

    mooresville started keith little who gave up 2 or 3 in 4 innings. he came out the game was 2-2. jeffrey mason came in lasted an inning and 1/3. giving up 3. he was releived by taylor thurber giving up none.

    offensivley little moors just not swinging the bats. they had 3 hits going in to the last inning. ended up with 5 hits. there just not hitting it.

    they loaded the bases up with 1 out for there #2 hitter who struckout for the 2nd out then the #3 hitter also struckout to end the game.

    the bats were led by tyler lewis who was 2-3. chris bonaventure taylor thurber cant remeber the last hit.

    but they wil go to stanley county on sunday for a big conference game hopefully they can get back on track.
