Junior Legion Scores week of May 25-May 31...

    Oxford splits DH with Ahoskie. 6-2 over-all 2-1 conf.
    Game 1 Ahoskie 8 Oxford 6 8 innings Oxford had a big error in 3rd that led to 3 unearned runs and spent rest of game playing catch-up. Will Bullock took loss in relief, but was a good effort. Ryan Allen 4 innings 3ER,4 K's, 2 BB and Trey Talley 2 innings 0 runs 2 K's 1 BB. Seth Lumpkins, Dylan Newton, and Geoff Cash 2 hits each. Chris Hill, Joel Adcock,Ty Breedlove, and Justin Blackwell added hits. Hunter (SS) from Perquimmons(sp?) high school can swing the bat. He added a HR for Ahoskie.

    Oxford 5 Ahoskie 1 Chris Hill picked up mound victory with Justin Blackwell getting save. Hill gave up 5 hits, 5K's, 1BB, while Blackwell had 2K's and 1 hit. Newton had 2 hits(HR & 2B) with Andy Richmond(2B), Joel Adcock (2B), and Patrick Whitt getting a hit. For Ahoskie, they are now 5-1 on the season.
