    we're all wet down here. ill post back if i hear anything but where im staying has ZERO cell phone service and cloudy internet.

    Just heard from tournament director and the games for today will start back tomorrow at 1:00. We had a tremendous amount of rain and it will take ALL morning to get the fields ready to play ball. From my understanding, games that are supposed to be played on Thursday will be played Friday and Saturday will be used to make up the other games. In case you are wondering who the heck I am, I am the offical stat keeper for the games this week. Good Luck to ALL the teams.

    I was told by a Mooresville American Legion representative on the scene in Kinston that the Jr Moors will play at 7:30 tomorrow night. If they win they will play Friday night at 7:30 if they lose they will play Friday afternoon at 12:30...

    btw...I understand if the Jr Moors play Friday night that game will not be heard on MI Connection Channel 4. MI Connection will be airing Atlanta Braves games that are carried on Peachtree TV on Channel 4.

    i'd think mooresville has to play earlier than 7:30 tomorrow. they gotta play 2 just like cary, pineville, rocky mount, kinston and cherryville tomorrow.

    Any idea why they aren't running the scoreboard at LCC?

    The 1:00 game at LCC has been postponed until 3:00. Field is a mess! The other games, as far as I know, are still on for time scheduled :)

    The scoreboard at LCC is not working because some piece needs to be replaced. Don't ask me what piece it is, don't have a clue. But it was ordered yesterday and shipped overnight. Hopefully, it will be working today

    Looks like some good stuff

    I know some good baseball will be played in Kinston. I know the teams hate to play so many games in a row over a shortened day, but the fans are in for a real treat. Lots of good baseball to be played. Kind of sounds like some travel tournaments I have been a part of. Rain condenses the schedule and pitching staffs are put to the test and whoever has the depth of talent will come out on top. I kind of like that a TEAM with DEPTH should win this thing and not just one ace that a team rides like a packed mule.
