rjr4dad, do you know the results of the 4PM game between Region 7 and Region 3?

 

I didn't see the game and I don't know the final score, but Region 3 won. I heard they scored 6 or 7 runs in the first inning to kind of end the game almost before it started.

Region 3 scored 11 runs in the top of the first inning aided by at least 3 errors and 3 to 4 missed fly balls in the outfield. Game over after the top of the first.

 

Is Region 3 done or are they still playing?

Region 5 bangs out 22 hits to win and finish pool play undefeated.

Region 5 defeated Region 7 today at Wake Forest. Region 5 is now 3-0 and advances to the gold medal game tomorrow. The championship game is scheduled for 2:00 at Ernie Shore Field.

 

Region 6 vs Region 4:

In the bottom of the third with Region 6 leading 3-0, at bat and with runners on (1 out), the rains came and washed out the rest of the afternoon.

The Region 6 vs Region 4 game will resume at 9AM at Ernie Shore Field.
The Region 8 vs Region 2 game will begin at 9AM at Wake Forest.

The schedule will revert to normal after that.

The Region 8 vs Region 2 game will determine who is going to the bronze medal game. Region 6 will face Region 5 in the gold medal game.
