Just for fun/ batting helmet????

    I agree 100%, but what if all the different equipment is out of someones price range. Do you make a kid feel bad because their parents can't afford two sets of everything? I am just asking, because I have seen a child be made to feel less because they did not match. Just something to think about because I do like uniformity as well.

    don't understand your post...............doesn't the HS furnish uniform-colored helmets for the team?

    What about the rules

    I totally agree with the team being uniform. And I wanted to add that I believe the NFHS rules could come into play on this. If I remember correctly the team must be in team colors at all times; EXCEPT for the exception made last year for the undergarments. I could be mistaken on this, but I would think it applies to helmets as well as everything else. JMHO!
