As for myself, me and the other coach that had the Carolina Clash the last two years are not going to have the team again. Too many going in different directions. Would have been nice to put them out there for one more run but it's not to be. Jeff called me a couple weeks ago and after talking with him a good bit decided to go with the Megastars this fall. Probably better for my son to play for someone other than me, especially now that he's a rising senior. I just wondered if I might meet some guys on here with sons playing this fall. Looks like I'll have more time to visit now that I'm not coaching.

Thanks for the response Dbacks. From my team there's a pitcher at OnDeck, a catcher at S. Charlotte, and an outfielder with Suggs. Another one of my pitchers will play for Capps. Some of the others are playing football and so forth. I posted because this will be the first time in about 15 years i won't be coaching, and thought I might meet some new people from TBR or at least put some faces with some names.

    South Granville HS players

Chris Luck SR rhp ss P Jupiter with Midland
    Jon Perry SR 2b Copperheads
Nash Blackley Jr P of Copperheads
Pratt Maynard Jr P 3b Carolina Cubs
Jeff May Jr C 1b Dirtbags

Im excited about having five guys playing with showcase teams in the fall. Three of which are pitchers. May recently hit 89 on the stalker at a showcase but he wont see the hill anytime soon if ever for us thats for sure. Im not sure if Luck is going to play for anyone this fall other than going to Jupiter with Midland. If someone would like to give me a call there is a good chance he would play for someone. You can ask Coach Evans about him if you want he is a straight up player. I look forward to seeing all of your sons that are playing this fall. And hopefully some of you.

    SG field

coach 27, I saw a TV news report about something at SGHS. it showed an overhead view of the campus. I recognized the baseball field; it looked like the outfield is also a soccer field or football field??

Cooperheads???....are they new? I knew a Bill Cooperhead one time, but he's still in prison, as is most of his family.
