Holly Springs' 2011 star Justin Manning has committed to UNCW.

Congrats to the Mannings and Coach Whitesell. This is Holly Springs' fourth D1 commitment in the Class of 2011... Rodon/NCSU, Sykes/AppState and Byrd/UNCA.

Congrats to Justin Manning, Kid has worked extremely hard over the years. Not sure but this might be Holly Springs' 4th D1 signee (Jesse Sykes - App State).

Dang, forgot about Sykes. You're right. Sykes is '11 right?

Kudos to the Mannings, Holly Springs, and UNCW

While he had a couple of offers already, I understand that after his super performance in the WWBA that Justin ended up several additional opportunities to play college baseball. I have watched him since his West Raleigh and AAU days. This kid has worked as hard, is as committed, and is as fierce a competitor as any baseball player I have ever seen. He has made himself into a power hitter that also puts up the numbers. Not to mention he has a great glove at the corners and behind the plate. UNCW is getting a fine baseball player. Congratulations to Justin.
