    Hey oldguycoach

Who's playing at each position for the NM JV squad. Haven't seen them yet this year. Who's not in that could contribute? They have a good record so far ... who's been impressive? where?

South Meck's JV team is looking very, very good so far this year. They are beating their opponents in 5 inning games each game although they did come up short again the North Meck JVs! After leaving the bases loaded twice in the South vs. North game, the South JV loss to the North JVs was very frustrating, I'm sure.

The sophomores on the South JV team are very experienced and lead the team. The South Meck freshman are huge this year! I can't remember when I have seen a larger freshman baseball class from any high school in quite a while! With the South Meck sophomores' leadership and bats and the South Meck freshmans' muscles' and bats, the South Meck JV season is looking very promishing in 2003!

    North Meck JV squad

Here is the North Meck JV team by position:

    1B: Greg Allen
    2B: Daniel Whitmire
    SS: David McAuley
    3B: Mike Murray
    RF: Brent Kellet
    CF: Zack Pou
    LF: Scott Cave
    C: Marcus Toop

    P: Zack Rosenbaum
    P: Alan Parks
    P: Brandon Kelly
    P: David McAuley
    P: Bennet Hamilton

These are the players I have seen so far. The defense has been very good with few E's and the pitching has been good except for to many walks. Zack R. looks strong when he has his control. I do beleive that they need to let Allen pitch. Zack Pou has had soon stong hits but in general the bats have been slow to come around. Given the limited play this season due to the weather this team looks to have a lot of potential.
