    Come on!

OK to post scores in my humble opinion yet just that toooo much pressure accolades / pressure on a team and / or player may be tooo much? Just an opinion and nothing more......

Good effort need to be recognized. It encourages kids to keep doing better. Sports is pressure, always has been always will be. I don't think you will find anyone on this site pointing out the bad, instead we build up the good. Good results and effort need to continue to be recognized.

    Player pressure ?
I'm for NC players getting scholarships to play at NC schools. If these "accolades" help one player get on some type of follow list or an invite to play on a showcase team, then is it a bad thing ? In 1998, Greenville's Little League team went to the LLWS as 12 year olds and received plenty of "accolades". Brack Massey is playing at Chapel Hill, Kevin Hodges is going to UNC-W. Justin Hardee and Alex White are on Street and Smiths watch list.
I don't think the pressure hurt them. Do you ?
Why didn't you voice your opinion in the top 06/07 plyers in NC thread ? Are "accolades" ok if you are on the varsity but not JV ? There are some super ballplayers playing JV because they are blocked by juniors and seniors.
    They deserve to be recognized.

    Team pressure?
Get real. Travel teams are ranked from day one starting with 9u.
