JV Baseball

    Devin Presnell (06) That was an off game for him and the whole team. They are much better than what you saw today. I think they made only one error in their first four games combined.
    SM's defense was unreal, especially Freeman. Curt Flood all over again.
    It was a great day to play two !

    TJ Freeman is a good player and an equally good kid as well.

    2 wins vs North Forsyth
    2 wins vs Mt Tabor
    1 loss vs South Meck

    Sorta the same boat as ACHS, lots of seniors on varsity...

    Saw South Meck's JV team play and they were very impressive. They are big and strong. Well coached. They look like they play mostly 06's and maybe and 05 or so. Morris is a very good pitcher. They have good bats through the lineup.

    Our Varsity team scrimmaged a couple of 2A teams just before the season opened and pulled several of our JV players up to play. Based on those comparisons, I believe the SM JVs would have beaten either of the 2A teams rather handily. It looks like SM will be good for some time.
