Mooresville 12 Lake Norman 9

Mooresville jumps out to 9-0 lead in 2 innings, Lake Norman fights back making it 9-6 but Mooresville out hit them.

Mville - Raper 3-5, Nanney 4-5,

Mooresville over Statesville by alot. Only 1 starter for Mooresville on the field this game.

Mooresville 4-0 takes on South Rowan Thursday.

Mooresville 17 South Rowan 1

Wes Dumford pitches a gem 1 hitter. 1 hit batter, 2 walks. Hit batter in 1st advanced to 3rd on the only hit of the game and scored on past ball from 3rd in 1st inning.

South Rowan only had 2 errors and the young man on the mound for them for the 1st 2 innings struck out 6 of the first 15 batters. Great pitcher, good control and great command, but walked a couple and then he fell behind batters and Mooresville cranked it up hitting singles, doubles and triples.

Wow was impressive! Off for Easter to support Varsity in Catawba Valley Easter Tournament.

South Caldwell JV's beat McDowell 6-1

David (Bubba) Evans pitch 5 2/3 innings with 8 k's for the win. He also had 2 hits.Jon Grey went 3 for 3 and Travis Cook went 2 for 3 with a double into the wind that hit the fence between the 375 and the 355 signs in right center. South is now 7-1 on the season. Next up ACR and AC at South.
