EB has already played and beaten South. They have a bye week next week and then freedom on Nov. 1/2.

yea i think heritage middle school will be going to the new high school down there and that will def hurt the eb program.

Actually, the seniors next year will get to stay at EB and literally 90% of the starters on jv this year came up from EB middle. So the cavaliers should have probably 3 more strong years. We'll just have to see how it unfolds though.

once again apologies fellas.guess i need to get the facts before i go making assumptions. you guys have good teams down in east burke right now- the jvs have a couple of good hard running backs and i heard the o line is just as solid as the varsity. looks like you guys are gonna be good like you said for the next few years.

i was told by an east burke person that that would not be allowed to happen as the school board didn't want another patton type debacle.

The problem with Patton was that they allowed way too many JUNIORS to stay at Freedom along with many other transfer requests. I don't see any way that the school board can force seniors to move to a different school for one year, if they do then there will be alot of angry parents and that is the last thing that the Burke County school board needs. I don't see another Patton ordeal at Draughn because they have had far more time to plan and have observed first hand how NOT to start off a football program.
