    East vs West Montgomery

In the JV game on Thursday East Montgomery posted a 13-0 win that was a no hitter!
Pitching the entire game was Wil Lambert, a fireballing sophmore. Look out for this guy, he's "hot" on the bump.

On Friday during the rematch......West lead early but they gave out... East won the game 13-3.

    Butler vs North Meck

    North Meck 11- Butler 2

This game was much closer than the score indicates. Both starting pitchers were extremely effective. Score was 2-2 in the 5th .
Thomas Ulmer ( North) had another strong outing (5 innings) No earned runs.
Blake Ewart pitched the 6th & 7th, allowing 1 hit.
Starting pitcher for Butler had a great change-up that kept the North batters off balance. He also did a great job keeping the ball on the outside part of the plate. Sorry, I do not have his name. Great job!
The strong winds and the twilight played havac with outfielders allowing a lot of balls to drop in for hits.

Scarey moment: Starting pitcher for Butler took a line drive off his knee and
had to be helped off the field. Everyone on both
    sides were concerned.

The bats finally came alive for North late in the game.

Shane Brown 2-4 3 SB, Blake Ewart 2-4, Spencer Thompson 2-4

    Good game on both sides...

New Berns Jv team has come out strong 3-0 matching last years 3-17 record with some good sophmores and freshman. Also thier freshman class had a game of thier own beating up on pamlico 11-0 in 5 innings.

    South Caldwell

What kind of competition has this South Caldwell jv team been facing? Are they scoring 20+ runs on good teams?
