Kaitlyn O'Shea, 2011 Graduate, has verbally committed to play softball for Coach Stacey Schramm and the George Washington University Colonials in the fall of 2011.

Kaitlyn attends Leesville Road High School, a member of the Cap Eight (4A) Conference in Raleigh. She has played travel ball for the past two seasons for the NC Challengers, based out of Raleigh, and previously played for the Triangle Lightning after moving to the area from Michigan.

Kaitlyn has worked very hard to reach all of her goals, and will now take her high GPA and tremendous work ethic with her to begin the next chapter in her life as a member of the Colonials. She sealed the deal by playing in front of Coach Schramm with the Challengers at the Rising Stars Showcase in Fort Lauderdale, FL last week.

From everyone involved with the NC Challengers - congratulations Kaitlyn!

Awesome news!!! GW needs some good ole' talent and she comes from a great HS program and travel ball organization between the Challengers and Lightning. Takes some brains too to get into such an elite college. Win win situation for academics and athletics. Good get for Coach Schramm.
