    tentative pitching match-ups for rounds 2 and 3...

    A great job tonight from North Meck's #3 starter Daniel Mallard and congrats to NWC pitcher Daniel Welch on his first varsity win in relief.

    North Meck is expected to go with lefty Patrick Sherrill in Thursday's 7 pm nightcap with Albemarle. Defending Intimidator Classic Champion Northwest Cabarrus is expected to send super-soph Ryan Overcash (4-1) to the hill Friday morning vs. the A.L.Brown/Mt.Pleasant winner.

    North Meck and Northwest Cabarrus are likely to go with Brandon Whitt (6-0) and Robby Gurley (4-2), respectively, in round 3.

    Coach Empsy Thompson will probably try to preserve A.L.Brown's one-two punch of Jay Hosack and Brian Little for rounds 2 and 3 and start Max Morales against Mt.Pleasant.

    Look out for Mt.Pleasant freshman hurler Garrett Furr who could help the Tigers play a spoiler role this year.

    baseball classic

    Hey to all and also friends with boxman.Just wanted to let you know that i was taught alot of stuff about his great work.I hope to be helping him this year.And oh by the way Fred T Foard took an upset by Mooresville 3-2.Hope to hear from you all and have a good weekend
