    6th state championship for Bill McDonald. Blue Valley West lost 11 seniors last year. Pitching staff allowed no runs in the state tournament. winning 1-0, 2-0 and 8-0 in the final vs. Olathe South HS. The last 2 years this team finished runner up so third time was the charm with a lot of new faces:)
