    Kara Gordan, South Florence senior and member of the Lady Blues 18U has committed to play for the JUCO National Champion, Chipola Jr College. Kara is one of the best SS I have ever coached and is a born leader on the field. I saw this young lady three years ago for the first time and just could not believe the way she could play the game.

    Carl, U did good my man!

    Chipola should challenge for another championship this year with the Covington girls and in 2008 with the new recruits they are getting.

    Way to go Coach Hendrix and Hendrix! WOW U should be strong. :189:

    Go Bruins. Class of 1985. They have built quite a program there.

    How is the talent in the Florence Area. South Florence seems to keep winning. How have they built such a good program?

    Who si the next star from South Florence?

    Coach works hard and girls work year round but have a great deal of natural talent. Almost all his kids go on to play college ball, mostly small schools etc, as they do not get seen a great deal. Some play with Brownsville team that is very tough and they go to big time tourneys.
