What time? Is it at Providence?

Okay...this will be the 1st in what will become years of a heated rivalry. For those that are playing and for those that are attending, you will be able to claim, " I saw the very 1st game they played."

I hope AK can ignore the hype and be able to show they can play with the "big boys"....because the big boys are ready to put the young upstarts in their place.

Strap it up and get "ready to ruuuuuuuuumble" because the Panther Den is ready to explode and they are looking to attack anything in purple.

But beware...you can bet that ol' Bagwell will be bringing out some old tricks that he forgot to show his buddy, Hignight. These are the kind of games that Bag's is at his best. Big game, big show...and to be the underdogs.

But I guarantee you that Higgy has a few tricks of his own. I love these games because the environment should be awesome, the coaches will be competing and the players are wanting to prove something.

...and Providence has something no one else does.......Mr. Mailman. I wonder what Bag's has up his sleeve concerning the Mailman. :stirthepot:

Hey Higgy.....will you have some tickets for us? Can't miss this game and I might have to bring the whole Braves tribe.

BEWARE....someone has forgot to tell those poor, young, inexperienced, Ardrey Kell boys they are not suppose to be winning games yet.

I kinda like the underdog in this one....however, Providence is hot and has got the experience of playing in the "Big Game" on there side.

Don't fool yourself....this is a "Big Game", especially for conference play. I'm sure both Coaches are down playing this one...I bet neither one of them leaves a base uncovered though.

    Braves....Let's get ready to ruuuuumble!!!!:boxing_smiley:

vs. "Mr. Clavin's" mound prowlness, that might just be Jordan Darrnell - 23 RBIs in just 8 games!

When HE is at the plate, Bags might best be served by "Ball 4" or eles the Mailman may make another one of his Special Deliveries. Talk about lov'in the big game monments!

Though, those bats behind Mailman are no treat either for opposing pitchers!

Should be a fun game. Wish I could make it.

AK is well coached, but Providence is in a different league than the Knights. It should and will be a fun game to watch, Providence is just strong! AK's time will come, but not right now.

AK has played well, but they get everybodys 2nd or 3rd pitcher. Butler and Providence see everybodys best each time they play. The AK hype is just overkill and teams who really deserve it like Butler are just being flat overlooked. Andrew Smith shut AK down and Mailman will do the same. The real game is Tuesday when Providence plays Butler as both will be undefeated in conference play. No doubt AK has exceeded expectations, but 6th in 4A? I think not.

sballdad...You say AK has recieved everyone's 2nd or 3rd pitcher then you talk about how they got shutdown by Andrew Smith. So are you saying Smith is Butlers 2nd or 3rd? Becasue it looks to me like thats not everyone...Also you mention AK was "shutdown" by Smith...3 or 4 runs in the first inning isnt exactly being "shutdown". Maybe teams should start respecting these kids because they have already proved the #2 or #3 pitchers aint going to cut it against them. However, i do agree with you on one thing, and thats AK not finishing 6th in the SW4A....its more like 4th!
