kelly Grieve V LSU.....

...hey folks and moderators, I know that threads that are about kids who have moved from HS to college are supposed to be posted in "the next level" spot of the TBR panel. But, I gotta bring our Fpitch fans in TBR, who pull for all of our kids that have been in our DDs "loop", you know kids who your kid either played on the same team or competed against. Well fans, I'm flippin the channel changer and get the UT V. LSU game, bottom of the 7th, LSU 5 UT 4 , UT runner on 2nd, LSU walks Callahan, in comes Kelly Grieve. Pinch runner at 1st who is the winning run. BAM! Next kid comes up with a screamer that just barely gets over thr RF glove and here comes Kelly, head first slide by for the win!.......I had goosebumps all over me. Why, I didn't coach her, she doesn't know me, ....why? ....because she's FAMILY!!!!!!!. TBR, Fastpitch, NC Family!!!!

 

Kelly is one of the fastest baserunners I've ever seen.
She is one shy of tying the freshman single season stolen base record for UT.
Top student, great young lady, supportive family.
