    I'm really disappointed that this tournament didn't make. This was for a really good cause in helping members of our softball family to get through tough times. Thanks to all that cared enough to sign up. Sorry the tournament didn't make!

    One day tourney

    I too am dissappointed in the tourney not making. If any of the teams are interested in playing that weekend or just on Saturday give me a call or email and we'll have a small round robin type event in Morganton. Depending on the number of teams we can do it at Freedom or Shuey Park. The new complex is an option, but not sure if there is a tourney going on. We will set up a collection spot for KW and also give large donation to their family. I know of 3 teams in the 16 &18U that want to play.

    Thad, if you can get four teams at this event, i will donate a 2007 Rocket Tech to be auctioned off with all proceeds going to the family. just let me know.

    I've got 4 teams so far
    NC Sun Devils(18)
    Carolina Troublemakers(18)
    Foothills Phantoms(16)
    Lady Spartans(16)

    If we can get 4 more 16's or 18's, I can hold it at Shuey Park or Catawba Meadows if no baseball is going on(will know that on Monday). If anyone else is interested, let me know and we can work it out. I know most go back to school on that Monday, but a few games on that Saturday won't hurt and it will help KW out!!

    Carolina Cobras have now joined up for the round robin for Keyndal Waugh..

    tell ya what, one more 16u team, and i'll donate one bat bag per team for those who enter and play. this will be a combination of back pack bat bags, regular bat bags, in what ever colors i have in stock.

    Just received a note from the CV Storm
    They are in-does that count they are a 16/18 team...!

    I need to call the Morganton Rec in the morning, but I don't think there is a tourney at the new park, I hope they will allow us to use it. I will let everyone know in the morning. We can take more teams if you want in..

    Any umpires out there that would like to donate some of their time, give me a call or PM. The more we can save th more we can give to KW and family.

    close enough for me, remember, at the new park, they dont want anyone selling or giving merchandise away, so clear this with them prior to the tournament, or we could do it in the parking lot??? lol. just give me a time and i'll be there, but i'm not umpiring!!! even though i might be qualified, blind, overweight and stuff like that. lol!!
