Kevin Woods Talks About Being Selected To 2011 USA Baseball National Team Trials

CBC Diamond Rat and Fort Mill HS player Kevin "KJ" Woods was interviewed today about being selected to the 2011 USA Baseball 16U National Team Trials. The interview will air tonight on Sports Night at 10pm. Sports Night can be viewed by all Time Warner Cable customers on Channel 14 or in HD on Channel 1414.



During the interview KJ talks about what it means to be selected as one of the Top 40 players at the 16U age group in the country as well as what it took to put him in that position.

I got to meet KJ this weekend while he played with the shorthanded 2011 Navy team. Great talent with a great attitude. He is not you typical 5/16 year old. Very mature physically and mentally. Fit right in with the older boys. A bit of a clown in the pregame, but a monster between the foul lines. Good luck KJ.
