Kudos to UNC Pembroke - sets school record for wins

    Congratulations to the 2011 UNCP Braves baseball team for a successful season so far. With a regular season record of 38 – 10 as they head into the conference tournament, they set a new school record for wins. It is the 6th straight season of 30 plus wins by Coach Paul O’Neil and his staff.

    Of the 10 seniors, nine are from NC; Josh Bagley (Hope Mills), Jason Coker (Charlotte), Billy Dudding (Cove City), Brad Isom (Liberty), Joe Magnum (Charlotte), Weston Sherrill (Stoney Point), Keith Whitman (Elkin), Brian Willis (Hope Mills) and Tyler Wood (Raleigh). The lone non-NC senior is Kenny Mickens from NV.

    These seniors have a combined regular season record of 142-64 and never had a losing record in Peach Belt Conference play!

    Best of luck to the Braves as they head down to GA for the 13th Peach Belt Conference Tournament next weekend.
