    It's official LBG & Hopewell 08 P/1B Christina Melton will be joining coach Drew Peterson and the Fighting Camels of Campbell University.

    Fantastic!

    Coach Peterson is a fine, classed, gentleman. He's got a gamer recruit! Great job Christina. Buies Creek is only 22 miles from my house so I'll be backing you and the Camels through you college years. Props to Coach Peterson!

    A quality player that I have faced many times over the years and was glad she was in Blue this year. She will join Keeli Micheal at Campbell and will be another fine college player.

    Congrats Tina, you have worked hard for this, now soak it up !! Looks like those lessons in the ole garage paid off. Sharons got 2 D1's out there now. Coach Peterson's a great person, & coach, good match. I can see Pop grinning now ! LOL

    Congratulations Christina, you have worked hard and deserve everything that you get. Mo had a blast playing and traveling around the country with you this summer. Good Luck at Hopewell in the spring and we will see you up close when Upstate plays Campbell, LOL! See you soon.

    Christina I have believed in you from the 1st time you came to me.
    You are a wonderful young lady and a Great student and I have enjoyed every minute teaching you. You are a hard worker and you never gave up no matter what. Remember when I told you to go for your dream? well you did it.
    I know your parent's are beaming of joy for you and they are so proud of you too. Coach Peterson will enjoy you just like I have. Now the pressure is off and you can relax and enjoy your senior year. Christina you Sooo deserve this and I AM PROUD OF YOU. Congratulation:smile: :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile:
