Lady Blues Showcase Day Update

    If there are anymore girls interested in attending the May 20th Showcase Day at UNCC, U better contact me with your info by Wed. am! Our numbers are down from last year as I have not been able to push the clinic for the last three weeks. I think we will have 35 or so quality players attending and I expect 12-15 coaches from around the area. Don't miss an opportunity to be seen by D-1 and D-11 coaches from the area. U will have a great time and get a lot of good exposure to the drills etc. that college coaches evaluate their recruits with as they travel the Showcase circuit. Good luck to all the HS in the playoffs! RET

    Sign-ups 8:15 till 8:45 9am to 10:00 pitchers and catchers, 10:15am to 11:15 hitting all to participate in this, 11:30 till 12:15 infield and 12:30 to 1:15 outfield and running times. WCU, UNCC, UNC-G, Furman, St Andrews, Queens, Greensboro College, Phieffer, Catawba to attend. Possibly Lenior Rhyne, Wingate, possibly Winthrop will also attend.

    I would like to commend you all for your efforts today. Never attending a showcase such as this, I was impressed to see the good attendance of all the athletes, parents and college folks. It seemed like a pretty good turnout to me. Thanks, Rodney, Moni, Coach O, Mike and the rest of the Lady Blues family, for all ya'll do for girls fastpitch.

    I would also like to say thank you to all the College coaches that attended. Your presence is always appreciated at events such as this.

    On a personal note, Rodney it was good to see you up and at'em.

    Thanks so much, I hope all enjoyed and Rick it was great seeing U and talking some softball. Good luck to U this summer, we will see U a great deal. Do U need a player? Have an excellent SS/infielder looking and I want to help her if I can. I do not have a spot.
