This 2015 year has been a record breaker for the Lady Lightning Gold program.
In 2014 the LLG program verbally committed 26 players to D1 programs.

in 2015 the LLG program surpasses the 2014 numbers by committing a program record 34 players in the 2015 calendar year.

Congrats to all the players and coaches that accomplished such a great feat.

A 2019 graduate, seriously???? A young girl at this age shouldn't be committing to a school, this is just absurd in my opinion. Furthermore, as her coach, if you were looking out for her best interest, you would not be posting this information unless you are pushing your own agenda.

    Still Educating in NC

It is obvious that you are clearly behind in the times. The only agenda by posting this info , was to give recognition to 32 hard working athletes.
As I see post on here all the time from others sharing their successes.

In the arena in which the LLG program participates, these players are subjected to competition that is being recruited by our in state schools and all Power 5 conferences all the way into the 2020 class and beyond. Our 2019 player is amongst some of the most talent 2019's in the country.

These players and families are educated at an early softball age in the recruiting process of the Power 5 conferences. They are also counseled on evaluating what's best for their players and their families.

So if they are only going to have to pay minimal $$$ per year max to get an education and play softball in a Power 5 program IT'S A NO BRAINER REGARDLESS OF A KIDS AGE.

IT IS 2015 NOT 1985!!!! Check out Flo Softball, do some homework and show these players the RESPECT they deserve for the hard work that they put in to a sport they love.

Its not that hard to just say Congrats!!!!!

Not behind the times, just think that it's improper to let a "child" make an adult decision. It's obvious you must be the great softball guru that knows it all or at least thinks he does. A good coach would NOT condone this but then again, never thought you were a good coach. If you think playing TB is solely about only playing at a top D1 program as you indicated in your response, well them my friend, you made it very clear it's about you and not the kid. Education first, softball secondary

You know fastpitchdad, I actually agree with your opinion on recruiting but I also don't think we should pay more than $1 for a gallon of gas.
Some things we don't control, so you learn to adapt to help players not miss out on the opportunities that present themselves.

But you know this post was still a positive attempt to recognize 32 players for their accomplishments, but you still do not have the ability to say Congrats to these players.
Instead you want to bash me and my coaching skills. Thank goodness you aren't the only one with an opinion.
This post didn't mention me or anything about self promotion.
I did put Education in front of Softball. And I put these families at the forefront of making decisions for their players. So there are Adults involved in these players decisions.

In fact I want to recognize some coaches in our program that are better coaches than I and help our program accomplish many things.

    LLG Team Miken- Shane Sherlund
    LLG Premier- John Garner/Kraig Westerbeek
LLG Midwest- Michelle Harrison/Mary Turitto/ Kelsey Anderson
    LLG PROSPECTS- Pedy Roberts
    LLG Elite- Jeff Fain
LLG Futures- Teresa Fister/ Tara Hajer

Without these coaches these things could not be accomplished.

So just tell these kids congrats and keep your opinion of me to yourself or just call me to discuss it. PAB!!!!!!!!

Well there you go..... PAB huh??? Just showed what kind of coach you are and no sir, education was NOT at the forefront, playing in the Power 5 was, go back and read your own post. You sir have always been about pushing your own agenda and everyone knows that. As far as my opinion of you...... well that ain't very high BUT........ I salute you with digitus medius!!!!!!!
Now you go figure that one out smart guy

I'm so sorry dang I don't know how I missed it. Maybe it's because my bad coaching skills or maybe it just because there are so many of them.

Congrats to all 34 players. Love that they are LLG players.
