    Sorry...I would not be a good source for a recap. I listened to the whole game on the radio. I do know that Lomascolo went the distance...

    Hopefully someone else with a better memory will be able to recap for you...

    Lake Norman wins the first game 9-2. E.Wayne makes 5 errors. Lake Norman Has 10 hits and E.Wayne has 5 hits. Lomo throws complete game and was 90-91mph all night. For LKN, Ross Whitley 2-4, Joe Faist 1-3(2RBI'S), Josh Hennesse 1-4, Tyler Lewis 1-3 (1RBI), Nick Keith 2-4(3RBI), Donnie Burt 1-3(1RBI) and Kevin Gradert 2-4 (1RBI).
    E.Wayne big hitter hits bomb to right center. This kids swings the bat very well, but it was only a solo shot. I believe his name was Wooten? Kid also plays good defense. One more for LKN on Saturday and we can get some respect from "Karlrocket"!!!!!!!!!:tooth:

    John Wooten hit the solo homer and played the good defense! Some sharp plays! Gourley made first two errors and the rest seemed to follow. I think 3 runs were earned. Although EW pitcher pitched a good game. Not the speed of LN pitcher, around 83-85, but had good stuff. Some said won't his best stuf they had seen. EW didn't start off at the bat either and when they did it was too late. LN seemed consistent and strong. EW will have to come back strong tomorrow if they want to get in that third game.
