Laurin Buckner Commits to USC Upstate

    Congratulations to Laurin Buckner for committing to USC Upstate. Laurin is a great catcher and will be a great addition for USC Upstate. Congratulations from all the Coaches, Parents, and Players from the Smokey Mountain Sting.

    I personally want to thank each and everyone that has helped LB along the way. This high school chapter is almost over and its going to be bittersweet, but its been very rewarding. I do want to thank Stan & Pam Arrington from The Smokey Mtn Sting! There was times i couldn't make the tournaments and they took her in as one of their own, and also to Barry & Janet Willis for doing the same. But thanks again to Stan..all of those practices going over situations over and over in the blazing heat and for hours!! Job well done and i know for a fact she knows the game coming from the time you spent with each and everyone of those girls!
