    This is an interesting story. First, I'd like to congratulate Scott on his decision. Not every student wants to become a doctor, attorney or sports management. Some want to be welders, auto technicians and in Scott's case, an electrician. I think that's cool that he knows what he wants to do. He can continue his baseball career and do so in a great baseball program.

    It will also allow him to pursue other options as they present themselves. This is a good illustration why a community college can be the perfect choice for some student athletes.

    Congratulations, Scott. I was in attendance at that Fike/Lawrence game last year at the Louisburg Easter Tourney and it was one of the best performances I've ever witnessed. He's got talent.
